Welcome to Rang! Here’s a quick guide to help you get comfortable and start chatting right away.
💬 Basic Chat Commands
- Set your name:
/nick YourName - Join a room:
/join #rang - Leave a room:
/part - Quit chat:
/quit
🔐 Save Your Name
If you want to keep your nickname, you can register it:
/msg NickServ REGISTER password email@example.com- Next time:
/msg NickServ IDENTIFY password
💡 Using Rang Chat (The Lounge)
- Type messages in the input box and press Enter
- Click usernames to start private chats
- Use the sidebar to switch between conversations
- Stay connected even if you refresh or disconnect

- Open settings (⚙️ icon)
- Change themes (light/dark)
- Adjust font size and layout
- Enable or disable notifications

- Allow browser notifications when prompted
